About Hankerton

With 115 homes on the books, Hankerton is small enough that the council knows most of the issues before they are raised. Meetings happen in the North Aisle of the church, six times a year, and anyone can turn up. Right now the council is asking residents what they want done about traffic speed through the village.

Everything the council publishes, minutes, agendas, accounts and meeting dates, is kept on this site so you do not have to hunt for it.

Meetings

Bi-monthly, usually the first Monday at 7:30pm in the North Aisle community area of Hankerton Church.

Every meeting has time set aside for residents to speak. Agendas are published at least three clear days beforehand, and minutes go up here once approved.

Minutes & documents

Agendas, minutes and the council's finances, kept up to date and easy to find. On a rebuilt site each of these would open a real, readable page or PDF.

Accessibility

This preview is built to meet WCAG 2.2 AA: it works with a keyboard, has proper headings and landmarks, visible focus, labelled form fields, and text that resizes on a phone. A live rebuild would ship with a dated, published accessibility statement, the exact thing the annual return's Assertion 10 asks a council to confirm.
